My property is in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Approximately 7.5 acres perched at 1200 ft on the water side of the mountain with 270 deg uninterrupted views of the Gold Coast and ocean. An abundance of of wildlife abounds with lush forest all around. My family have lived here on and off for the past 22 years. It has become a sanctuary and an escape from the madding crowd. At the age of 66 I was no longer able to care for and devote the time to this magnificent property. After careful consideration we had decided to list the property at the end July. Having decided to use a local agent, I vetted some 6 agents. Fortunately I made the right choice in Kevin Crasto, a man that didn't try to BS me or blow smoke up my A. A number of the agents were looking to low ball the property price before they even had the listing, and 2 of them did not even bother following up with a second contact. Kevin was a breath of fresh air with his optimistic outlook and approach to real estate. He believes in his clients and works for the seller and not the buyer. We didn't have a listing (although we had a range ) price on the property. We had a few inspections mid week and a weekend open house found several serious buyers appear. Within a week the property was skillfully sold at a RECORD price in the street. Kevin is a man that goes out of his way to support his clients to the point where when I was laid up in bed and needed to pick up some sandstone tiles he offered to pick them up and unload them for me with non recompense. Highly recommend Kevin Crasto to sell your property. We first met Kevin in 2015 when our daughter negotiated the purchase of a house at Bonogin. We, as her parents, were heavily involved in the process and found Kevin to be attentive to our queries and at all times respectful of our needs. He persevered over several months to finally secure the sale. Within a year, we decided to relocate to Bonogin to be closer to our daughter. Kevin was our first and only local agent that we considered. He listened to our requirements and finally, after a few months, find our perfect home. For various reasons, we chose to move from Bonogin to downsize due to our changing circumstances. Because we believed that our property had specific features that wouldn't suit most buyers, we didn't want to enter into the "standard" Sole Agency agreement and be inconvenienced by having to prepare our house for open houses frequented by "tyre kickers" who were not interested in what our property offered. To this end, we contacted Kevin along with two female agents from two major companies with our proposal that they simply bear in mind that our house was available for sale and that we weren't prepared to offer a sole agency agreement. Kevin understood where we were coming from and simply contacted us on a number of occasions when he had prospective purchasers interested in what we had to offer. The other two agents approached, both declined to our proposition claiming they "don't work like that". Thanks to Kevin's understanding of our needs and his "can do" attitude, within less than 6 weeks, he had a sale. An agent that listens! - We spent 3 months looking at places that didn't match our criteria. The day we met Kevin we explained what we were looking for.
